GeM registration and Government e-Marketplace services

The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is India's online platform for public procurement. We help businesses register as sellers, set up their profile and understand the onboarding process.

What is GeM?

GeM, the Government e-Marketplace, is an online platform where government departments, public sector units and other government buyers purchase goods and services. It was launched in 2016 and operates under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Businesses that want to sell to government buyers list their products or services on the platform as sellers, and buyers place orders or invite bids there.

Who can sell on GeM?

Manufacturers, service providers, traders and other suppliers can register as sellers, subject to GeM's own eligibility and category rules. Requirements differ by category, and GeM updates its terms from time to time. We help you understand what applies to your business.
